Maintenance Introduction of Diesel Generator Set

Regular maintenance is essential for diesel generator sets to ensure stable operation, reduce failure rate and extend service life.

Daily Check: Check oil, fuel, coolant level, battery and air ventilation. Run no-load test regularly.

50H Maintenance: First maintenance for new unit, replace engine oil & oil filter, drain water from fuel separator.

250H Maintenance: Replace oil, oil filter and fuel filter, clean air filter and check fan belt.

500H Maintenance: Replace all filters, clean radiator, inspect fuel injector.

1000H Maintenance: Deep service including injector calibration, valve clearance adjustment, coolant replacement and generator insulation test.

For standby generators, keep dry environment and run test monthly.
